Alpine K9 is a facility that is tailored to our dog-loving community. The founder is not only dedicated to providing a safe and fun environment for your pooch, but also to fulfilling the physical and social needs of your dog. We allow the dogs a full day of interactive daycare with little-to-no kennel time.
Owner, Michelle Adams, has worked in the animal industry for over 20 years. She had been employed as a veterinary assistant for many years, including both small and large animals. She also spent many years riding and training horses, here and abroad. Then she found her true passion, owning her own dog daycare business. She had four years of experience working in this field before starting a business of her own. She formed Alpine K9, LLC, in January 2018. Her love of animals, combined with her compassionate nature, has made this a perfect fit. She thoroughly enjoys both the dogs and her clients. In addition to running her business, she includes time to assist BrightSide Animal Shelter in caring for dogs going up for adoption.
When she is not at the daycare, she can be found spending time with her two sons and three dogs. In her free time she loves spending time outdoors, riding horses, and time with family.
Nick moved to Central Oregon in 2000. His mother had a job at a dog-boarding facility as he grew up and he spent every summer there working with dogs, for roughly 5 years.
When Nick graduated from high school, he found his way back into the industry by volunteering at a local animal shelter, where he was eventually hired.
Nick has been working at Alpine K9 since 2016, has 8 years of back-to-back experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes and backgrounds, and a total of 13 years combined experience. He spends his weekends in the summer working with a well-known Central Oregon dog-rescue facility in Crooked River Ranch.
Nick shares his home with 3 dogs, Ditto, Ellie, and Piper, all Australian Shepherds. He likes to spend his free time working on 4WD trucks, riding OHV trails and exploring the backcountry of the Pacific Northwest.
Jennifer comes to Alpine K9 with lots of experience in dog behavior and training. Before she joined our team she was working at the dog daycare in Sisters where she was supervising 75 dogs at a time. She also has grooming experience which is helpful on days when we could use an extra set of hands. When she is not working with the dogs she spends her days painting many different kinds of animals. We will soon be displaying some of her artwork here at the daycare for everyone to see.

Madison is currently going to school to be a Veterinary Technician. She has extensive knowledge working with many different kinds animals which makes her a wonderful addition to our team. Before she started working with us she was a client of ours and brought her dog Delia to us almost daily. So making her a part of our staff was very exciting for us.
